Required Summer School

Who's Required to Attend? 

Students may be required to attend for 3 reasons (listed below):

- Attendance (only grades 9-12)

- Credit recovery, meaning the student(s) has failed one or more  high-school credit courses

- End-of-course retests, meaning the student has failed one or more STAAR exams

Dates:  June 2 - June 26, 2025

Times:

7:45 am - 8:00 am: Breakfast

8:00 am - 12:00 pm: Class

12:00 - 12:30 pm: Lunch

Summer Strength & Conditioning

Incoming Snyder ISD 7th - 12th Grade Students

Youth Camps 2025

Youth camps are hosted by coaches and teachers and are designed to be fun and productive, but academics come first. Therefore, if your child is in a REQUIRED Snyder ISD Summer School program, they will not be accepted in any of our optional youth camps (if the camp time is during the respective summer school hours).

Baseball Camp

Dates: May 27-29
Grades: Incoming 1st–9th

Golf Camp

Dates: June 2–5
📍 Sammy Baugh Golf Course (WTC)

Times:
• Ages 12–18: 8:00 AM–10:00 AM
• Ages 7–11: 10:00 AM–12:00 PM

💲 Cost: $75 per golfer
• $50 for additional siblings (separate form required)

🎾 Tennis Camp

Dates: June 2–5

Times:
• 5th–9th Grade: 8:00 AM–10:00 AM
• 1st–4th Grade: 10:00 AM–12:00 PM

💲 Cost: $50 per camper | $25 for each additional family member

🏀 Lady Tiger Basketball Camp

Dates: June 3–5
📍 Snyder High School Gymnasium

Times:
• Incoming 2nd–5th Grade: 9:00 AM–11:00 AM
• Incoming 6th–9th Grade: 1:00 PM–4:00 PM

💲 Cost:
• $55 – SISD Employee
• $60 – Non-SISD Employee
• $70 – Day-of registration (cash or check)

🗓 Deadline: May 15 (guarantees camp jersey & basketball)

🏃‍♂️ Mixed Games Camp

For: Students Completed 4th & 5th Grade
Location: Snyder Intermediate School
Instructor: Coach Cantu

Session Options:

  • Session 1: June 2–12 | 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM

  • Session 2: June 16–26 | 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Activities Include: flag football, basketball, pickleball, yoga, dynamic stretching, and more!

Cost: $60 per session
Spots are limited—up to 20 students per session. Sign up quickly to secure your spot.

Soccer Camp (Boys & Girls)

Dates: June 16–18

Time: 10am-12pm

Location: Grant Teaff Tiger Stadium 

For boys and girls entering Kindergarten through 8th grade.

$50 per child

Summer Meals

Children need nutritious meals to learn, grow and thrive — even when school is out. With the Summer Meal Programs, children and teens ages 18 and younger, and enrolled students with disabilities up to 21 years old can continue to eat healthy throughout the summer at no cost at any participating meal site.

No form of identification is required; kids simply need to show up.
