Financial Aid (FAFSA) & Scholarships
1. Start Here
FAFSA (Free Application for Student Financial Aid)
Completing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) is a graduation requirement for ALL Seniors! This should be completed between October 1st and the end of December each year. It can help you earn money for college, trade, or technical school after graduation. Snyder ISD will host multiple FAFSA help sessions in the fall each year. These events are for the student and the parent/guardian to attend. You aren't required to attend one of the FAFSA help nights and may complete the application on your own. However, many families found the help sessions to be beneficial!
Steps to get started:
Gather your student Chromebook, driver's license, most recent tax return, and social security number.
Visit the FAFSA website.
Create a FAFSA ID. The student AND the parent must create a FAFSA ID.
Contact your campus counselor with any questions.
