Dear Snyder High School Families,

We have some important developments with regard to leadership at Snyder High School. Mr. Alaniz has announced his intention to retire as Principal of Snyder High School at the end of this school year. This is an important and exciting milestone in an educator’s career. However, we must carefully plan for a transition. We believe it is in the best interest of the District to make a change now for the long-term academic future of the high school campus. Therefore, Mr. Alaniz will transition to the role of Coordinator of Special Projects for the remainder of his contract.

I am pleased to announce that, effective immediately, Mrs. Aleida Juarez, who has been serving as Assistant Principal, has been named Interim Principal. Mrs. Juarez is deeply committed to the success of our students and school community. I am confident she will continue to lead Snyder High School through this transition with the same passion and dedication.

We appreciate your support and encourage you to join us in thanking Mr. Alaniz for his service to Snyder High School. We will immediately begin the process of searching for a permanent replacement and notify our school community as updates are available.
