Phil Ragland
Phil Ragland was the “Voice of the Tigers” for over 20 years. He worked from 1981 to 2002 for the KSNY radio station and continued to broadcast select events on ZTV until 2006.
In 1983, Phil broadcast the state championship baseball game between the Tigers and Desoto.
Mr. Ragland, a 1943 graduate of Lubbock High, earned a basketball letter as a freshman at Texas Tech.
He then joined the Air Force and after his military discharge, played professional baseball for 5 years in the minor leagues.
Mr. Ragland has been an active member of the Snyder Chamber of Commerce Gold Coats and is a Mason and a Shriner.
