Social Media Engagement
Snyder ISD is proud to promote the success of its students, staff, and programs. The District may use students' names, images, and video clips in materials such as newsletters, website content, and postings on official social media platforms. To restrict the District and those acting under its permission from the ability to feature your student, you must submit a letter, in writing, to the SISD Administration Office within one week of registration stating that we may not release your student’s information. https://www.snyderisd.net/page/communications
We ask that all comments, private messages, and other interactions on Snyder ISD associated social media accounts be respectful and courteous. We reserve the right to remove or hide content that includes, but is not limited to: individually identifiable student information, copyrighted material posted without permission, confidential material, spam, advertising, or commercial solicitations or information, obscene, defamatory, harassing, discriminatory, violent, vulgar, hateful, or sexual material, advocating the commission of a criminal act, or off-topic or disruptive remarks.
Snyder ISD does not discriminate on the basis of sex, handicap, race, color, and/or national origins in its educational programs. Admission into career programs is based on age, grade, interest, aptitude and ability.
Lack of English language will not be a barrier to admission and participation in any educational program. It is the policy Snyder ISD not to discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, gender or handicap in its vocational programs, services or activities as required by Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, as amended; Title IX of the Educational Amendments of 1972; and Section 503 and 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended. Snyder ISD will take steps to ensure that lack of English language skills will not be a barrier to admission and participation in all educational programs and services
