Snyder ISD announces upcoming changes in administration.  Clay Cade, Director of Human Resources and Operations, has announced his resignation, effective January 31, 2025.   The district will immediately begin a search to identify and hire a highly qualified successor to ensure a smooth transition and continued support for our staff, students, and community.

Mr. Cade has been a valued member of the Snyder ISD team for the past nine years, leading numerous operational initiatives, including the renovation of Snyder Intermediate School and the management of our district’s aging facilities within budget constraints.   As part of a broader recruitment and retention initiative, Mr. Cade championed an innovative compensation and matching retirement program unique among Texas public schools.  Additionally, he has worked alongside uncertified teachers, providing guidance and support as they pursued their certification.

“As I prepare to step away from Snyder ISD, I remain deeply confident in the strength and capability of our district’s team to continue making a difference in the lives of Snyder ISD students,” Mr. Cade stated. “I’m proud of all that we have accomplished together and am truly grateful for the experiences and relationships forged during my time here.”

Mr. Rauch, Superintendent of Schools, expressed gratitude for Mr. Cade’s service and his many contributions to Snyder ISD. “We wish him success in his future endeavors and will keep the community updated as we move forward in selecting a new leader in Human Resources and Operations.”
