The Results Are In...SISD Bottle Challenge Awards Video is Now Live!
Snyder Independent School District (SISD) is thrilled to announce the release of the highly anticipated Twelfth Annual Bottle Challenge results! The community came together in an incredible way to promote sustainability, and the results are something to celebrate.
A huge round of applause goes out to the Snyder Intermediate School STEAM team and Mrs. Carolyn Torres for spearheading this initiative. Special thanks to ARC Coca-Cola, the City of Snyder, Keep Snyder Beautiful, Delta Kappa Gamma, the West Texas Council of Governments, Keep Texas Beautiful, and Keep Texas Recycling for their generous support and contributions.
This project was made successful through the dedication of our students, staff, and families, who embraced the challenge to recycle and make our community greener. The effort was met with great enthusiasm, and the participation from all grade levels was nothing short of inspiring.
Thanks to an abundance of prizes donated by our generous partners, there were winners from every grade level! The ultimate highlight? The grand prize, a Coke Float Party sponsored by Coca-Cola, was awarded to the 5th grade class for having the highest collection totals. Congratulations, 5th graders—you’ve set the bar high!
To see the excitement and highlights of the challenge, be sure to watch the Bottle Challenge Awards video now available online. Let’s keep this momentum going, Snyder, and continue to work together for a cleaner, greener future!
Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make this initiative a success.
More Information: This event was part of the annual Bottle Recycling Challenge, hosted by the City of Snyder in partnership with Snyder ISD and the Keep Snyder Beautiful committee. The challenge, held in celebration of Snyder Recycles Day and America Recycles Day, encouraged students to collect #1 and #2 plastic bottles, remove caps for the Caps For Life initiative, and contribute to a greener community.
