We were honored to welcome Leadership Snyder into the halls and classrooms of Snyder High School on Wednesday as part of their tour of educational institutions in Snyder!
The showcased Snyder High School and began with a Q&A session featuring a panel of SHS students, providing insight into their experiences and perspectives. Our guests toured our campus, starting with Mr. Knipe's A/V Production class, where students were gaining hands-on experience setting up lighting for high-quality video production.
Next, they visited Mr. Perryman's Ag Mechanics class, where students were in the shop, suited up in safety gear, and gaining valuable, hands-on experience with welding skills.
Their next stop was the automotive class. Did you know that Snyder High School has a fully functioning automotive shop open to the public (by appointment)? Guests were able to see students working on customers' vehicles under the guidance of instructor Marco Escobedo, gaining real-world experience in the process.
Back inside the main building, Leadership Snyder visited Coach Ritter's Honors Physics class and Mrs. Rauch's Honors English I class, where students were engaged, learning, and even having some fun!
We want to extend our gratitude to our students, teachers, and SHS Interim Principal, Mrs. Aleida Juarez, for welcoming Leadership Snyder into our schools.
Snyder Chamber of Commerce and Leadership Snyder, thank you for joining us —we always enjoy showcasing the incredible work happening in Snyder Schools. Come back anytime!
