Dear Snyder ISD Families,
Snyder ISD announces a change in leadership after receiving a resignation from the Safety and Security Director.
Going forward, Mr. Jeff McGinnis, our current Director of Technology, will take on the additional responsibilities previously managed under this role. His transition to the Director of Technology and Safety is a natural fit, as many safety and security functions align closely with the scope of the technology department, 
including campus and district-level safety operations and compliance metrics. Mr. McGinnis will also oversee Campus Safety Specialists and lead our security initiatives.
Mr. McGinnis brings a wealth of experience to this role, having served Snyder ISD since 2006. He began his career as an Agricultural Science Teacher, transitioned to Instructional Technologist, and has been the Director of Technology for the past 16 years. His deep understanding of our district’s infrastructure and operations positions him well to ensure a secure and supportive learning environment for all students and staff.
