Snyder ISD Automotive students are learning about careers in the automotive industry both inside and outside of the classroom. Recently, they visited South Plains College to learn about how to further their education in college and potential career opportunities.
The automotive program is part of the P-Tech (Pathways in Technology Early College High School) Program offered at Snyder High School. Mr. Marco Escobedo is the instructor for the class. Students can obtain hands-on, resume-building work experience through the Auto Shop School-Based Enterprise that offers automotive services to the public. Students are also able to earn industry-based certifications, college credit, or even an associate's degree before graduating from high school.

Thanks for keeping us connected! Today, we say thanks to our IT staff who keep us on the cutting edge of education technology, help students stay safe online, troubleshoot and repair devices, and come to the rescue when things aren't working properly. We couldn't possibly list all of the behind-the-scenes work they do, but we know we couldn't make it without them!
